1) The time has come to challenge the ethics of the business model that underpins the 'market expansion' of psychotropic drugs for vulnerable children and the massive profitability that ensues for Big Pharma.

2) The DSM5 process is proven now to be fundamentally flawed due to lack of scientific rigor and gross subjectivity which prevents assessments being statistically reliable. Also there are huge financial conflicts of interests with the 70% of the authors having proven links with the pharmaceutical companies which produce the drugs. 3) This 'market expansion' in the last twenty years is a socially constructed phenomenon not a scientifically validated trend. it is more to do with parents and society wanting kids to 'seen and not heard' and so is a flagrant form of 'social control' which breaches children's human rights and has major 'safeguarding' implications for children
