Ex drugs company rep comments on the ethics of the pharmaceutical industry and direct consumer advertising on TV - the Ad suggests the symptoms for a condition e.g. 'restless legs syndrome' or 'sub-clinical social anxiety' etc - consumer repeats those symptoms they have memorised to the doctor - the doctor gives them the drugs the Ad has implanted in their mind - and so another very lucrative but unethical trade cycle or triangle is created.



TV AD LISTS SYMPTOMS FOR CONDITION - CONSUMER MEMORISES THEM - THEN HE TALKS TO DOCTOR REPEATING SYMPTOMS - DOCTOR WRITES PRESCRIPTION FOR DRUG ON ADVERT - DRUG SALES AND PROFITS GO UP RAPIDLY = A NEW TRADE TRIANGLE OR CYCLE IS PROMOTED.
