Parental Perspective Poem on Psychiatry

My child is not disordered and ill

But is developing and growing still,

So in the dualism of our body and mind

Why do you give only drugs or their kind.

If you do believe in his human being

Then you would hear what I am seeing.

He is unique, fun and caring

But sometimes can be scaring,

And is better letting off steam.

So your arrogance makes me scream.

Let him be ........

The adult see ......

A future free

Of you ......

And me.
